Sometimes a doll just catches your heart.
That's what happened when Papa Pete saw Corolle Calin Milly at the North American International Toy Fair. She isn't one of our specialty diversity dolls. She isn't a doll we plan to keep in stock year-round. But in her soft blue gingham dress, matching bow headband, sweet baby face, and cuddly 12-inch size, she was simply too adorable to leave behind.
We only brought home two.
A Sweet Little Corolle Baby Doll Papa Pete Couldn't Resist
Corolle Calin Milly is one of those dolls that makes you stop and smile.
She has the classic Corolle baby-doll look: a soft, huggable body, touchably soft vinyl face, arms, and legs, sleepy eyes that close when she is laid down, and Corolle's signature gentle vanilla scent. At about 12 inches, she is a comfortable size for younger children to hold, carry, cuddle, rock, and tuck in for pretend naps. Corolle describes this doll as suitable for children 18 months and up.
What made Milly special to me was her outfit. That blue-and-white gingham dress gives her an old-fashioned sweetness without feeling fussy.
