Our Warranty and Defectives policy:
What you can and can't expect when you purchase from the Pattycake Doll Company or BestDollsForKids.com - our warranty explained:
We cannot warrant the hair or the eyelashes. Whether the doll has a wig or 'rooted hair,' inevitably hair will break and/or hair will fall out - this is normal, especially at the first brushing. And children love to 'pick at' those eyelashes!
We also can't warrant the clothing... just like the clothing you buy for yourself, there are occasional loose threads, missed seams etc; we do look and try very hard to not send out stained or defective clothing.
Also please note that all doll clothing styles shown are shown for illustrative purposes only. Manufacturers update and change styles, colors and fashions constantly.
If the doll has sleeping eyes, they were checked before shipping to make sure they were not 'cross-eyed' or that the weights were broken. If your child pokes the doll's eyes (and some do), they will break, we do not warrant 'sleeping' (open-close eyes.)
And just like people, children's dolls come with minor skin blemishes. These are normal in the process of manufacturing, and will only be joined by more as your children play with their dolls.
That said, we want you to know that we examine every doll very carefully before shipping. We look for all of these problems: Loose eyelashes, eyes moving and looking naturally positioned, no excess glue under the wigs, clothing sewn properly with no obvious defects, clothing fits, no disfiguring blemishes or deep scratches, no smeared paint, the arms, legs and head move smoothly.
Electronic and wind-up or musical toys and dolls are another thing that is tested before shipping. If it is supposed to talk or sing, we promise you that when it left our warehouse it did.
Music Boxes: we do not warrant wind up music boxes as per the warning on each music box product page.
We reject a lot of dolls before shipping, so that you never have to. If the item is defective please email us at bestdollsforkids (@) gmail.com so we can talk about it. Many times defectives go back to the manufacturer, not to our stores. Often the manufacturers only need a picture of the defect, not the item itself, so please email us.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
We will give you a full merchandise refund for any order returned within the first 30 days - no questions asked, no hassles. Even if it has been played with; even if it has been ripped out of the box and packaging. NO Restock Fee. NO hassle. NO questions. Just send it back.
If your child is willing to give you back their doll, there must be something really wrong with it. And we want those dolls back.
If the doll is not defective, but just something the child didn't fall in love with, we are more than happy to refund your merchandise returns.
We also like to suggest as an alternative, that you consider donating that doll to a local Children's Hospital or Women's Shelter instead. Many of our customers have told us they never even thought of that, and are glad we made the suggestion.

Please be sure to include the name of whoever placed the original order inside the package so we know who is sending it back for refund. We are sorry, but we can only - by law - refund to the original purchaser.
Downloadable software products
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a few days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Clearance Sale items (if applicable)
Our regular priced and sale priced items may be refunded, unfortunately clearance sale items are considered "final Sale" items and cannot be refunded.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Use the least expensive method available to you. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping may be deducted from your refund.
